As an Agile practitioner, you understand that successful implementation of Agile is about successful shifting of cultures. You also know this can be slow. But do you know why? Understanding why not only will help you gain comfort with it, but will offer you insights to get control of it.
Change occurs through the application of some fundamental principles. Maureen Cunningham will explore the key elements of extraordinary change theory. She will illuminate it with some fun and enlightening stories. Together, we will explore why some of the myths about organizational change slow progress. We will also explore why Agile practitioners are already on the leading edge of change practices and how we can be seminal in the emerging shifts in how business is done.
For the past two decades, Maureen Cunningham has been a consultant, practitioner, facilitator and speaker on organizational change. From 2004 to 2010, Maureen was Director of CGI’s Organizational Change and Transformation Practice. For the past 16 months, she has been working with her own clients and deeply exploring, deconstructing and refining her theories, beliefs and practices in the field of individual and collective change. In the coming year, she will be launching the product of this deliberation: a transformative training program in Organizational Change.
Networking, a light supper, and refreshments will start at 6:00 with the meetup session beginning at 6:30.
